2025 Student Achievement Overview
We are proud to share our 2025 end-of-year achievement data, which highlights the continued success of our tamariki across the core curriculum:
Writing: 79% of our students are achieving within or beyond New Zealand curriculum expectations.
Number and Algebra: 74% of students have met or exceeded curriculum expectations.
Reading: 71% of the whole school is performing within or beyond expected levels.
At Ilam School, we remain committed to "Knowing Our Learners" by using detailed assessment data to provide targeted interventions and professional support. Our focus for 2026 includes further upskilling our staff in Better Start Literacy and partnering with experts like Dr. Murray Gadd to strengthen our writing and English curriculum.
