Environmental Education

Ilam School works alongside the City Council and other environmental groups to integrate and support our sustainability practices at our school. Currently we are continuing with our School Wide Composting System, revitalising our vegetable gardens, encouraging litter free lunches, creating a new azalea garden and encouraging walk/wheeling to school.

We also involve ourselves in studies around environmental education and trips to areas outside our school grounds where we can be directly involved in environmental activities and actions.

Our Enviro’ blog records the activities of our large and very keen Environment Team. http://ilamenviroteam.blogspot.co.nz/
